Hi Logan, It was your first birthday yesterday and a real emotional time for me and daddy. We lit the candle that was lit at your funeral and put a picture of you beside it. This burnt for most of the day. We had a celebratory breakfast, followed by a visit from your nanny, which we celebrated your birthday with tea and donuts. We then visited your great nan for tea and your other nan. I brought a helium balloon that was, blue and star shaped, we attached this to your tree for you to hold. Nanny had also added flowers with a little note to you, they were a bunch of lovely yellow roses. At night we let the balloon float high into the sky and wished you happy birthday for the final time. It would have been so different if you were here and it is something me and daddy wish every day. We can't quite believe it has been a year.
